So, I'm off to Martha's Vineyard tomorrow with Raphie for five days! I haven't been back in two or so years, and I can't wait. It's so beautiful and charming... there will be lots and lots of pictures when I get back.
Corn is a monoecious plant: produces both male and female flowers on the same plant. The corn silk growing out of the ear is the female part of a corn plant.
