I had my first day of classes today! 7.5 hours of making art! It was really incredible, but quite long. My teacher is named Ted Weller, and he's like an old teddy bear and really spacey. We're doing a project with gouache and things we checked out from the nature lab (like gigantic bugs and animal skeletons) to draw.
This is the beautiful view from the RISD beach. Everyone sits out there and socializes. I love the campus because the whole thing is on a hill, so you can see the whole city.
RISD had a block party (the whole street was shut down) where all of the clubs set up tables and gave away free stuff. There were djs and people singing and stuff. It was so wonderful!

And finally, this is a dance party we're going to on Friday! We have to get pink outfits...
