rude

I don't understand people most of the time. I don't understand how you can know someone (kind of well) and then all of a sudden something happens and all you get is an occasional head nod or "hi". Sometimes it's almost as if they don't even recognize you. As Eloise would say, "rude, rude, rude".
Sometimes I wish I was the kind of person who could call these mean people out on their atrocities. But I'm not. I put my head down in my hands and my hair in my face and pretend I have a headache when I spot one of them. If you don't look, you don't have to see their eyes pretending to not see you.
