I got this book out of the Fleet Library today for my painting class on collections. I guess a blog is basically a collection... Anyways, it's a wonderful book; it's basically exactly what I strive for when I write here. Took some photos of it:
Corn is a monoecious plant: produces both male and female flowers on the same plant. The corn silk growing out of the ear is the female part of a corn plant.
