my friend beatrix

Well this is kind of awful. It's my first day home, and I had all of these elaborate plans for today, but now none of them can happen because of flaky babysitters (for Thea) and carsss. Snow is beautiful, but it's also a killjoy sometimes. It's less than a week 'till Christmas, and I still have all my gifts to buy! That's what the Punk Rock Flea Market was for today!

Beatrix Potter was always my curling-up partner on snowy days. She's such a genius.
Of course, there was Peter Rabbit.
I had a special fondness for Mr. Jeremy Fisher. His computer game taught me everything I know about math.

I want jars of "Merry" and "Christmas" and sacks of "And Plenty of Buns", please. And a bunny.

This drawing strikes me as strangely sexual...

Dashing

Bunny party! My favorite kind
And this story, oh my God. This is probably the Potter story I remember most vividly, probably because of how much it scared and disturbed me (in the best way possible). It's all about a kitten who goes up the chimney and gets captured by a rat couple who try and bake him into roley-poley pudding. I had both the book and the movieeee
